PWIF2018 Forum was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu, with FoodbevDaily as the organizer, in December 2018. There came more than 130 celebrities including enterprises, dealers, suppliers, experts and medias. The meeting discussed global status and tendency for bottled water, home drinking water, BIB water and business innovation. The importance of BIB packaging development in water was underlined at the forum. Participants highlighted that it’s time to promote BIB marketing poly and improve BIB production process, which showed BIB making machine’s significance in packing industry.

Humanity’s most fundamental relationship is with what we eat. But as for what we drink, we’d often come up with the transparent and clear water. It’s said that human is composed of 70% water so we have to ensure the water safety, which is related to packaging design. Apart from barreled water and bottled water, BIB water is increasingly prevalent among water manufacturers. The package, also called water in soft package, is used for astronauts in America. And now BIB water is popular with developed countries in western and over 60% families in France prefer BIB water.

It’s no exception in wine industry. Around 37% customers start to accept wine in PET and BIB package. In the meanwhile, among 63% buyers, most of them are willing to adopt BIB package or remain indifferent when showed other packing methods except for glass bottle. Besides, in informal situations like party and picnic, about 79% persons would like to drink BIB wine, 65% for bag wine and 61% for pop-top can suitable for anytime. “The trend of transforming from thick wall bottle to light bottle won’t be refused by customers,” said WSTA.
